VoIP Phone Installation in Las Vegas

We install network cabling and IP phone drops for business VoIP systems in Las Vegas. Numbered drops, patch panel termination, and VoIP readiness testing so your phone system has the physical infrastructure it needs.

Business VoIP Phone Cabling and Setup

IP phones run over your data network — the same Cat6 cable that connects a computer can connect a VoIP phone at the same workstation, or a dedicated drop can serve just the phone. We install the cabling to each phone location with the same standards we use for data: clean runs, proper terminations, and testing at every port before we consider the job finished.

What's included

  • Cat6 cable run to each phone location
  • Patch panel termination and numbered port labeling
  • VoIP readiness testing at each drop
  • Phone location documentation
  • Coordination with your VoIP provider or IT team
  • Network closet organization as part of the install

Network Cabling for IP Phone Systems

VoIP phones need network connectivity and PoE power, both of which travel over a single Cat6 cable. We plan and install cable runs from your network switch to each phone location, terminate at the patch panel, and label each port with a consistent scheme. Your VoIP provider or IT team handles the phone configuration; we deliver the physical layer to spec.

Good fit for

  • Offices deploying a new VoIP or cloud phone system
  • Businesses replacing older analog phone wiring
  • Companies adding phone drops for a growing team
  • Medical and professional offices with multi-station phone needs
  • New buildouts incorporating phone infrastructure from the start
  • Offices combining phone and data drops at workstations

Office Phone Wiring and Numbered Drops

Clear labeling is important for phone infrastructure — when a phone needs to move or a call quality issue needs troubleshooting, the port ID on the cable should match the patch panel label and your documentation. We number and label every drop consistently during installation so the system is manageable from day one, not something that requires tracing wires later.

VoIP Readiness for Existing Networks

If you are adding VoIP to an office that already has data cabling, some existing drops may be usable for phones, or additional drops may be needed at specific workstations. We assess the existing cable plant, identify what works, and provide a clear picture of what needs to be added or updated before your VoIP system goes live — so there are no surprises on installation day.

VoIP Phone Cabling FAQs

Does VoIP use the same cabling as a regular ethernet connection?

Yes. IP phones use standard Cat6 ethernet cable and connect to your network the same way a computer does. Many phones also support PoE, drawing power from the network switch over the ethernet cable. A single Cat6 drop can serve a phone, or combined phone-and-computer setups can use two drops or a phone with a passthrough port.

Do you work with specific VoIP providers?

We are provider-agnostic on the physical cabling side. Whether you are deploying RingCentral, 8x8, Vonage, Cisco, or any other system, our job is to deliver clean, labeled, tested cable drops that meet the physical requirements of your phones. Your VoIP provider or IT team handles system configuration.

How are VoIP drops labeled and documented?

We number each phone drop at the wall plate and match it at the patch panel. Documentation includes a port map showing which patch panel port corresponds to which physical location, so your IT team can configure extensions by port without tracing cables.
