Each run is terminated to a keystone jack at the work area and punched down to a patch panel in the rack, using the same pin assignment throughout so any technician can work on it later without guessing.

Should I install Cat6 or Cat6A for my Las Vegas office?
Cat6 is the right choice for most standard office environments running gigabit switches. Cat6A makes sense when you are planning for 10-gigabit speeds at the edge, running longer cable distances, or building infrastructure expected to last 15-plus years without replacement. We help you pick the right cable grade during the quoting process.
How many ethernet drops does my office need?
A standard starting point is two drops per workstation — one for the computer and one for a phone or spare. Add drops for printers, access points, cameras, and any other network-connected device. We recommend building in 20–30% more capacity than your current headcount requires, since adding drops later in finished walls costs significantly more.
Do you test ethernet cables after installation?
Yes. Every cable run is tested end-to-end using a cable tester that verifies wire map, length, and signal performance. Test results are included in the project documentation we hand off at close-out.
Can you add Ethernet drops without opening up the walls?
Often yes. In buildings with drop ceilings or accessible plenum space we can usually reach a new drop location and come down an interior wall with minimal patching. Solid drywall with no ceiling access is harder and may need small access points that a drywall finisher can repair. We will tell you what is realistic after seeing the space.
How many Ethernet drops should each workstation get?
A common approach is two drops per desk — one for the computer and one spare for a phone, dock, or future device. Printers, wireless access points, and cameras each need their own. Running the extra drop during the initial install is far cheaper than returning to add one to a finished space.
Do you provide the network switch and patch cables?
