Network Rack and Patch Panel Installation in Las Vegas
We install and organize network racks, patch panels, and network closets for Las Vegas businesses. Clean terminations, consistent labeling, and manageable infrastructure — so your network room works the way it should.
Server Rack and Network Closet Setup
The network rack is where all your cable runs terminate and where your switches, patch panels, and other network hardware live. A well-organized rack makes the entire network easier to manage, troubleshoot, and expand. We mount the rack, install patch panels at the right positions, route cables with proper management hardware, and label everything consistently so the result is functional — not just installed.
What's included
- Network rack installation and leveling
- Patch panel mounting and termination
- Switch and hardware mounting in rack
- Horizontal and vertical cable management hardware
- Cable bundling, labeling, and port documentation
- Network closet cleanup and reorganization
Patch Panel Installation and Cable Labeling
A patch panel is the connection point between the cable runs from the rest of the building and the switches in your rack. We terminate incoming cables at the patch panel, mount panels at the right rack position, and label each port with a scheme that matches the labels at the other end of each cable. Consistent, accurate labeling is what separates a manageable network closet from one that nobody wants to work in.
Good fit for

- Offices with a disorganized or undocumented network closet

Network Closet Cleanup and Cable Management
Many office network closets accumulate unlabeled cables, orphaned runs, and hardware configurations that nobody can fully explain. We assess what is there, identify active versus inactive cables, organize and bundle what stays, re-terminate cables that need it, and document the finished layout. The result is a closet your IT team can actually work in — and one that stays organized.
Rack Planning for Offices and Small Businesses
How a rack is organized matters before anything is mounted. We plan rack unit allocation — where the patch panel goes, where switches mount, how cable management hardware is positioned — before any hardware goes in the rack. This planning step prevents the common problem of a rack that cannot be expanded or maintained without unplugging active network infrastructure.
Rack and Patch Panel Setup FAQs
What size network rack does my office need?
Rack size is measured in rack units (RU). A small office with one switch and one patch panel might fit in a 12U wall-mount rack. A mid-size office with multiple switches, a patch panel, UPS, and other equipment typically needs a 24U or larger floor-standing rack. We plan rack sizing based on current equipment plus room for growth.
Can you clean up and organize an existing messy network closet?
Yes. Network closet cleanup is a common project for us. We assess what is there, identify active versus inactive cables, remove orphaned runs, re-terminate cables that need it, install cable management hardware, and label everything consistently. The result is a closet your IT team can actually work in.
Do you install the network switches and other hardware?
We mount hardware in the rack and handle cable termination at the patch panel. Switch configuration and network setup is typically handled by your IT team. We coordinate with them on rack unit allocation and labeling scheme before starting, so the finished rack is organized the way they need it.
